Sure as hell seems to me reading these forums that alot of poker players have massive egos.

Very rare to read here about anyone that loses playing poker.

Poker players by far.

Poker players have huge egos even if they suck.

Was thinking the same thing right now.. Who knows maybe everyone on theRX are expert poker players who always win...

Experience goes a long way and a lot of them admit they've been playing awhile.. Good thread btw

Big winners in poker are generally quiet. Those who think they are winners, but are not, can be loud and egotistical.

How many threads are there about people losing at sports betting?

Ive read countless threads about 98% or more sports bettors losing money, but I cant recall any rx regular poker player/poster mentioning being a net money loser.

Firstly, by levisteps picture it shows being too long on here with no hobby makes you age fast, as for the winning Poker players thats just more hip at the mo.
Be it poker or Sports betting, what everyone has to realise is 98% of the bastards on here not only lie about their success but havent a clue how to succeed.
As someone who makes the game pay I can tell you it isnt glamourous. Constantly sticking to pre-conceived strategies, waiting endlessly for a 10% move in your favour, reviewing prices till you go cross-eyed, after 8 hours ducking and diving finding your down on the Day, bucking a price thats falling and holding your nerve till it turns, all part of a gambling Day.

Then at the end of the Day for a bit of relaxation you tune into the RX and the first post you see is "Easy money" or "take it to the bank" I can tell from how someone posts whether they bet what they say or even bet at all but thats the nature of a Sports forum.
I have to say that I'm going to make a stand about My Pint being put on the second page, if its not put back then I will have to go to new pastures, replacing it isnt a big deal when you see the other motifs .

WHERE'S MY PINT

Are You A Sharp Bettor

Cracking up prices on tomorrows Horse-racing for an hour or 2 so if any poster wants to know if their sharp or not, or if some other poster is, just post the name and I'll tell you. However, it has to be said there's not many so dont be dissapointed. Of course if you dont post then your a square. :missingte

I'm sure like every other type of PtP situation, the sharps will clean up and there's always the Sea-Gulls on the side looking for a morsel or two. as with any form of gambling, I've looked to see if there's an edge and there's no easy one in the Poker field. So if there's no easy money then that means its fucking hard work where only the best win and if your winning at that game you certainly dont want to advertise it.

i would think winning poker players have bigger egos..poker players seem to like to tell everyone how good they are..whereas, winning sports bettors(if they're winning, most likely they've found a gem that they won't relinquish in fear that once more people find out about the gem, their edge is either gone or reduced big time)....with that in mind, I've never met a winning sports bettor in person..i've read about them, but never met one in person..

Reminds me of keno player's also. They all have a "system" on how to beat it and why certain numbers come up more than others. Alot of guy's I know that play alway's seem to be REALLY good.
