any of you guys live in or know about the western part of north carolina?

...specifically planning a family mountain type vacation there. there are 2 amusement parks in the area, "ghost town in the sky" and tweetsie railroad" both with the same admission price of $29. which one do you recommend or think is the best value? thanks for any input you can offer!

I have heard good things about tweetsie, never been to either place.

went to dollywood a few months ago........ pretty good for a 2 day trip or so........ of course this is in Gatlinburg (Pigeon Forge) area..... went to the casino's in Cherokee, wasnt impressed...... but good for degenerates, of which i am not.....

Favorite part of the country there.

Eastern Tennessee and the Western Caralinas.

You cant go wrong in that part of the country no matter how hard you try.
