Is it a good investment? Meaning, are there places you can you sell them back for the actual value they are worth at the time, or do the places that buy them from you usually give you a lower price? Also, how do you find reliable places to buy gold if you actually want to buy a bar of gold?

I think gold buillion more often trades in coin form

k-rands
mapleleafs
eagles
etc.

they are made to weigh 1 oz, rarely counterfeit ( just weigh it).

I'm sure you can buy online, but coin dealers have them in shop. The mark-up is pretty small.

They can trade for cash with no record, but it depends on state laws.
