Plasma Tv: Help

i have decided to get a 42" plasma tv and have narrowed it down to 2 different models to choose from, was wondering if anyone has either of these tv's or has any comments regarding either of them, let me know! thanks!

Pioneer is by far and away the best picture....if you can afford it.

Not a fan of plasma but I do own a few Samsung LCD's and they are the best. If I were you I would consider Samsung LCD over plasma.

I'd consider the extended warranty on anything like this, everything breaks fast now.

I never was a believer in service plans until recently, I'd get it on a TV,computer,refrigerator,washer,etc. now.

About the only thing I'd pass on is a dryer, or something with little electronics in it. I don't get it on a car.

My mistake.

I have the DLP.

DLP kills plasma and LCD for picture. Especially fast speed sporting events.

Not worth it...

Almost double the price and far from double the quality...

Also a quick heads up... when the price is bumped for 1080p it is pointless... The human eye can not tell the difference between 1080p and 720p...


Panasonic is much better for Plasma though as stated....

But the Hitachi 42 inch is better then both for the same price
