A horsebettor from Cape Cod ,Mass was issued an incorrect ticket..the #'s were right but the teller gave him Grand River harness track instead of the Great Lakes Downs....The super fecta hit and paid 27k.....The bettor tipped the teller $50.

What is it with you and the ponies. Every thread is about the ponies. You do know that there is a horse forum here.

Its is up to the better to make sure he got the right bet in. Most of these tellers hardly ever look up at he person at the window. Can't say I blame them.

Dillrod also reporting "if not for the takeout by the track, the superfecta would have payed in excess of 1 million dollars".

50$, wow that is disgraceful. I would've thrown 5-10k to the clerk.

NO ONE would give the clerk that amount HPARK. No need to tip that much for a clerk who doesnt even print out the correct ticket. $50-100 was fine

Well I would've, so thats at least one.

Without the clerk's stupidity there is no 27k, might as well spread the good fortune around.

Wouldn't expect anything different from a pos like yourself...:howdy:

Anything under 5% after taxes in an instance like this is absolutely pathetic.

The charts I saw from GrandRiver there wasn't 10k in the pools.
The bigest I saw was 7k and usually it was half that amount.
But those were weekdays

its not like the teller did anything intentional. The teller messed up. If ther error would have had the reverse effect and prevented the guy from winning 27K, do you think the teller would even give the guy 10 bucks for his mistake?

Most Harness tracks run at night. And yeah I agree 27,000 in the pool of a harness track I have never heard of?????????????

Dilrod I call bullshit on this one. Why am I not stunned at that.

Fuck these POS tellers always with the hand out looking for money. The ponies are hard enough to beat let alone giving some winnings back to a teller.

Now we used to have a teller that would always make sure we would not be shut out. At a local track here in Michigan we could get a bet in 2 seconds after the race started. That was a huge advantage since it was a half mile track. Speed was everything there. We would tip him for sure.

I would go to a different teller when I had a good hit. Just so the teller wouldn't expecta tip. (Not the guy from above). How the hell are we supposed to beat the game if everyone has thier fucking hand out. Poker dealers also. $6 every half hour and they want a tip when you win a measly $20 pot. I am there to win money not give it away. I don't want to hear this is how they make thier money also. Hell they get paid more than me up here they are in the union.

Just like anything else he post, nothing but b.s.

Hes a waste of space on here, you would think he would be out trying to make up for that Pistons series bet that he took a loan out to play. Then again, he probably just went out and got a new monopoly board and replaced the toy money from the new game to the old game.

Plus, can anyone confirm who Dildo, errrr, I mean Dilrod is ghosting as.

Here is the payout info for the race.

11
2-Ss Silver Charm 117.70 27.60 7.40 8983
9-Alcars Uptownangel 5.10 3.20 2138
5-First Class Kid 4.90 1017

EXACTOR (2-9) paid 525.10, pool 7850
SUPERFECTA (2-9-5-4) paid 27569.60, pool 7360
TRIACTOR (2-9-5) paid 3494.20, pool 12335
#7 REFUND $4.00

Here is my question, how does the payoff exceed the amount that was in the pool. There was no carryover. What am I missing?

No expert on this, but maybe the only tickets that hit were .10c supers, but I'm not sure if this track even offers those.
