Taking my kids on airplane first time. I have drivers licence do they need something


they dont have any photo Id or school Id they are young do they look for anything with the kids or do you just say they are with me?

as long as they aren't leaving the country , you shouldnt have a problemo ... Unless of course , your kidnapping them from your estranged wife ..

My girlfriend will be taking her 4-yr-old daughter with us to a plane trip next week for her first plane ride, and I did mention that I believed a copy (as in a facsimile) of the birth certificate would do. I haven't checked with the airport yet, though. Mental note to self: "check this out on the airport's website when I get the chance".

I have never needed any ID/documentation for my kids for domestic flights - most recent trip was April 07.

Birth certificate or your passport with your kids on it, tahts for Canada.
Never flown domestic though.

Just asked my brother and he said when he flew to New Jersey last year he didn't need to show their (his kids)I.D..

hay dude..... they don't need a darn thing !!! just make sure they have a new pair of socks on.... because these "nuts" at the airport make ya take your shoes off. and ya don't want your socks to smell !!! :lolBIG:

as stated above no id required. I took my kids 7 and 9 years old to NY in January. No ID required. I don't know what the cutoff age is?
