Tomorrows game features Joe Blanton vs Curt Schilling. Recently Schilling has shown a propensity to be alot easier to get too on the road. Featuring a road ERA with over a +1 differential compared his home ERA last year and this year showing a road ERA of nearly +1 compared to his home ERA. While Blanton has shown to put forth better outings at home and especially this year. Not to mention Blanton has had success against Boston in the past.
While I know its hard for many to think that the Red Sox could possibly get swept in a 4 game series, if the A's are to hold onto tonights 3-0 lead, you have to remember the A's have found a way to slow this Boston machine down. Bostons offense has been anemic, getting men on base but have failed to find the big hit. While their offense could return any given day I have a feeling the humbling game of baseball has them heading down a rough stretch right now after being nearly unbeatable for over a month. For what my thoughts are worth im putting 2units on the A's.
