Last Years SB win subtlely covered over what the better Teams in the League discovered, the Colts Achilles Heel. They were destined to win after meeting Teams on the slide like Kansas and Chicago coupled with an almost impossible comeback against New England. The Patriots along with some other Teams with nifty Linebackers realised that slowing the Colts down in a prevent type defense limits their chances of scoring while a good running game kept Manning and Company off the Field.
Not only did this make what is perceived to be a quick fire offense become the Team with the longest time per drive on offense but on Defense also. From looking at the stats of their Games its obvious not all opposing Coaches copped on but that will change this Year through word of mouth, and while some will still lack the personnel to get the job done, it will mean plenty of long sustaining drives in most Games. There's no doubting Addai is a good back but with more Teams playing cover, Joseph will be designated a lot more resulting in a wearing down quicker than last Year.
Wearing down is something The Colts have got away with on Offense for Years but I foresee more physical hits on the receivers than ever before because of the short Game while defensive injuries will carry on for the same reasons as before. It only takes a 3% drop off in strike rate from last year to put half the games on the line and although Dungy knows this by securing a top class kicker which was probably the move that won them a SB, the nuts are getting tighter.
