What player was in the lineup and played behind 3 perfect games?

Hint, he was one out away from a 4th perfect game...pretty remarkable when you think of how few there were- and he was part of three , almost four.

interesting, bunch of Yankees were involved in Wells' and Cone's and Mussina's close one, but can figure out who would have been involved in RJ's or Brown's. Could be way off though.

I remember Milt Pappas while with the Cubs having a perfect game thru 8 2/3 and a 3-2 count and walked the last guy.

I meant Rogers, not Brown.

I always hated O'Neill, mainly b/c I am not a Yankee fan. However, I appreciated the hell out of the way he played the game and his passion. Dude was a gamer. NYY is sorely missing guys like him now.

F-n love Paul O'Neil....

I wonder if this is on YouTube.....

While he was still with the Reds-O'Neil made the SportsCenter highlights one night for the most bizarre play...he came charging in to field a base hit to him, there was a runner on the bases, O'Neil bobbles the ball around and out of frustration KICKS the ball back into the infield...it was like he threw it!

Hilarious play, if anyone remembers it or can post it.
