The fans will be in an uproar if they don't bring a bat in here. It will happen this yr. And some of these teams are already out of contention. We will get a corner outfielder even if it's on a rent basis. And hopefully Giles comes back and actually produces.

man fans have been in uproar every trading deadline and offseason since moving into petco it seems...so i'm not getting my hopes up again

the padres just aren't the kind of team that will take on a big contract or give up the house for a one year rental....i do like adam dunn though...

A few years ago I went to a Padre/Dodger game. Actually it was the inaugural season at Petco Park. Dodgers won in extra innings 2-1 on a Jayson Werth HR. As I was walking to my car a Padre fan stands behind me and shouts in my ear and screams Dodgers Suck! I turned around and broke his nose and left him unconscious on the floor. And I told him don't you ever creep up on me again asshole! Fuck San Diego.

Tradition - NO PLAYOFF WINS since the 80's
Roids - Gagne, Kevin Brown, Nomar (to name a few)

Dodger dogs - so overrated. Dodger stadium is awesome if you want to feel like you are in Tijuana.

The difference is the bums are outside the stadium, not inside. And the gaslamp district is hardly a dump. Where are you going to walk after the Dodger game to enjoy your night?
