and keep track of their record. is it mostly to keep track of your wagers or are you looking to get into the touting (whatever) business?

Many here are looking to eventually sell picks... I just post em to talk about the bets and to help people out if I can. Alot of people do that as well.

The future touts are easy to see with their "100 unit play" and "LOCK CITY" BS posts.

Yeah, everyone's pretty much a wannabe tout. Seen it so often where someone goes on a little run and stops, acting paranoid about how others are stealing or that there are too many haters, etc. Clear signs of someone "cashing their tout check."

haha.. no wonder online sportsbetting sites make so much bank.. you (not you personally) gotta do your own research and go with your own gut, not some faceless online guy. i get the feeling some of them actually work for the books

There are only 2 non touts here and I am one of them. I do not gamble so the other 12,658 touts here that post are here to impress the one gambler hoping to sell him on their plays.

good luck

"I personally do it to keep good money management, less/no chasing, accountability, get thoughts, get "sharper" etc. Cool beans." - very honest answer.

didn't you used to be a tout?

That's what I heard. I could be wrong.

Yea, when I was like 19 and thought I knew everything. In my defense, I never busted out the huge plays and lock-talk. I killed in MLB and thought I'd be just as awesome in the other sports, which wasn't the case. Football and NBA took me another few years to learn to be profitable in and the tout business is something I won't venture back into ever.

I wouldn't call any of the write-ups "great".... they're all amateurish and highly opinionated with 99% stats that were taken from elsewhere. Of course they only post stats that backs up their pick and not the others that makes it look unfavorable.

If you want a professional & neutral write-up go to ESPN or Sportsline and click on "preview."

LMFAO Are you serious? When someone writes up a game, they would naturally point out the stats & such that made them like a side. This is just basic common sense.

Last I check all stats have to be taken from somewhere so what is your point exactly?

Professional & neutral opinion? Networks are usually slanted & biased in some shape or form so how is that a neutral preview again?

I hate touts and I would never sell a pick. I make a considerable amount of money betting sports and I post my picks just because I like to help guys win a few bets from time to time.

Are YOU serious????? Anyone can nitpick stats to make a compelling argument for BOTH sides. That's MY point. Go read CBS and tell me how they are biased. For example, Yanks-Pirates preview.... they mention that Pettitte is 7-1 vs. Pirates but also that Bay is 8-15 vs. Pettitte... so who do you suppose they are "favoring"? You think someone touting the Yanks would mention that Paulino is batting .667 vs. Pettitte? Bautista .557? Sanchez 350????? Highly doubtful.

Why don't you go through each preview and tell me who they are favoring..... let's see if you have a point.

There are stats that aren't published and you have to do your own work. But most just use the spoonfed info and pass it off as their own. There's even people who claim their write-ups are automatically copyrighted (even when it's made up of mostly spoonfed stats they lifted off ESPN) and threaten to sue if anyone plagerizes them. The fake lawyer said this also. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Once again you prove how much of an idiot you are. So if you ever write up a game, should the masses come & throw anything they can to dismiss your selection?

Stats are stats, pieces that are there to be analyzed. So what is the big deal if people use stats to help explain their opinion of a situation? This is a normal way of looking at a matchup.

Seriously I think you post stupid shit just to get attention. I hear there might be a youth hockey game that is a strong selection on Saturday. Maybe you can pick your side, lose, & tell us on Sunday how you decided against playing it.
