I thought I saw a show about how unfair this law was, especially towards african americans. I remember petty crimes such as bad check, credit card fraud, minor shoplifting at Walmart, caused some african american women to be sentenced to life because of the strikes. I don't believe the crime needs to be violent or severe, unless their has be a change.
