I'm not going to get into everything from tonight, except the end of the game... Tracey had his leadoff guy on base to start the 8th, 9th, and 10th inning and did NOTHING to move him to 2B. NOTHING!!! No steal, no bunt, no nothing. Jason "I BLOW WHEN THE GAME IS ON THE LINE" BAY was the next man up in two of the innings and grounded out & K'd.
In one inning Torre intentionally walked Nady to get to Laroche. He set up his infield and BOOM...Laroche hits into a taylor made double play.
In the 10th after a leadoff double by Cano, Torres has Cabrera Sac Bunt to put man at 3rd. Cairo reaches on a squibber that 3B Jose Bautista totally fucked up and made no play, to put runners at 1st and 3rd, but the DP is still in order with Damon up. Tracey allows Cairo to steal 2nd base uncontested!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then decides to walk Damon to load the bases and get to Jeter!!!!!!!
Jeter hits another squibber to Sanchez at 2B who bobbles it and has no play. You know Freddy Sanchez, the Pirates All-Star 3B from last year now out of posiiton at 2B so Jose Bautista can hit .260 with 12 RBI's and play 3B. What a joke. I know Castillo is in the dog house, but he's a solid ass defensive 2B and can hit just as well if not better than what Bautista has done in 2 months so far.
