Like I said, impressive numbers, but at some point he'll lay an egg.

That's a lot of balls in play. His K/9 Rate has been cut in half. I still like him a lot, just being cautious.

Edit: his ground ball % (mid 40's) suggests that he is not the type to survive with that many balls being batted.

Of course his K ratio will go down pitching as a starter...

How bout this one...since becoming a starter his ERA has went from 4.64 to 2.76.

His H/W ratio is down under 1....he hasn't just been lucky , if you have watched this guy , he's been dealing.

Guthrie again tonight pitching well.
