ok so the filly getting 5lbs from every burnt out racehorse in the field barely beats the overrated chalk.....the trainer who has sent out close to 30 horses in a desperate attempt to win a triple crown race finally scores big f... deal....the best horse wasnt even there and there were only 7 in the field.....the filly was well rested and picked up the garbage....what would have been the result if she had to gut herself in the Derby and Preakness......she wouldnt have even been able to run....ok she run no big surprise.....what was she 3-1 , I mean she wasnt 30-1 ..she was expected to race well against a tired overarted group of horses...

She had to be good my friend, she won even though she was carrying an extra 300 pounds...........................me!Congrats to the winners, I'm afraid I fell for the 102 Year stat and laid Her on the Exchanges. Its going to take me a long time to get my money back on Fillies in the Belmont.urple:
reason few fillies have won is simple......
very few start.....if u calculate the # of filly starters that were under 20-1 odds at post time you will be surprised....Historically the fillies dont even try as they are outmatched.....there is always the chance of a breakdoen against males unless u face a dead field like this Belmont group(what a bunch of slugs)...after the first two where in hell was the rest of the field??????? Overall this 3 yr old crop VERY dissapointing according to many in the know in the breeding world....Fractions for Belmont 24:4 first 1/4??? 50 seconds crawling ..3000 claimers go faster.....at the half....3/4 in 1:15:1 worthy of a good 4000 plater......a sad walking race...4 of em could barely finish....the race was a joke...tired mediocre horses beaten by a better than average filly.....in a poor time....with poor fractions over a fast track.....
