My god was this so much better free flowing basketball. There is good defense but teams actually ran the ball up the court and took a shot before 5 left on the clock.

KJ started taking over the series and if not for the Paxson long range bomb who knows....it seemed every Bulls title had that 'one play'...I said it last week, they played in some tough finals that they barely got by on.

Utah , the steal of Malone by Jordan.
Port, the 4th qtr implosion in gm 6 by Port, Ref aided
Pho, the Paxson shot.

I'm not so sure they would have beaten the Lakers top team of the 80's or the Celtics of the 80's

Those were all game 6's. Like Jordan wouldn't have willed them to victory in a game 7. All those series were over before they started. Dynasty. 8-peat if Jordan wasn't a degenerate gambler.

Thats the thing J is they always found away. I remember all these games like yesterday and always knew they would come through. Kind of cheesy but almost like a superhero. They would find away to win.

Oh good lord...Frank Johnson bricking a wide open look from the free throw area and Thunder Dan firing 30 footers....terrible ball management by Pho..they played the last 2 minutes as if they already won the game.

Majerle was on fire in those playoffs. Forgot about that until now. That one game, I think it was the Western Conf finals clincher, he hit about seven 28 footers in a row.

Yes he was...and he choked when it mattered most....the shot Frank Johnson missed was the real key miss though...he was wide open.

Jordan said after the game, he wasn't even thinking about retirement, interesting looking back..it was fun.

Jordan was the best of the best in all of sports, there is no doubt about that.

I held a $1000 series wager on Phoenix and also bet under in Game 6. Thankfully, Horace Grant was too busy pooping his pants to take a wide open layup to tie the game and chucked it out to Paxson. Otherwise, I definitely blow the under and probably have to come up with $2500 for the series. Listened to Game 6 on the radio driving from the US open at Baltusral in NJ on Fathers day to a new casino called Foxwoods in CT.
