manny was injured on friday night...a manager usually will not rest a starter like manny on a saturday game unless he has not hit that pitcher in the past....guess I was half right as ortiz is out today..guess my sources are not completely wrong...manny was a game tim decisionto play today..we will see how he fares against johnson coming off the wrist injury..
He wasn't a game-time decision ... but if you want to think that he was, its ok.
He was rested yesterday because they were planning on resting Ortiz today against the leftie ... and they didn't want to rest both players on the same day ...
PS: I live in Boston and they said so yesterday on the telecast and were talking about it today on the radio.
