I have one, the Slingbox Pro. Even watching over a cable internet connection, the picture quality is pretty bad for watching sports. Anybody try the "HD Connect" component for the Slingbox Pro? I'm wondering if it improves the picture quality...
You can watch whatever television it's connected to wherever there's a high speed internet connection over your computer. You can even control the on-demand features like ordering pay-per-view, etc. It really is a great thing to have if you travel a lot.
I've found it hard to watch tennis and golf on the slingbox because of teh ball. i have no problems watching hoops and bases though. I have no idea about the HD Connect though.
I've got one and I like it. Don't know if its worth what I paid for it. Streaming at about 1500 and decent picture quality. Isn't perfect, but pretty freaking good.
