Typo? A typo would be if they called him bowem instead of bowen, not an entirely different name

I remember WSEX for the nba 3 point shootout had mike miller as mike killer and damon jones as damon james. those were funny too

But to answer your question, no, not the first time. Though SIA tends to do it much more often than other books

And when SIA does it, its not like they're accidentally hitting letters close in proximity to the intended letters. They regularly get names wrong, which is what makes it funny. They book sports bets but don't know the players' names. Granted, knowing the players' names isn't necessary to operate a SB, but one would still think they would know the names of players who are big enough to merit headlines on the site's front page. They're highlighting the key matchups of the Championship series of a major American sport for heaven's sake

Not knowing players names is minor, some books don't know the cities names.
A top tier book regularly has the Tigers playing in Detriot.
