monday thoughts

finished up a 6-1 weekend...... enjoying the turnaround...... nice to start month 2 (6-1)....... totals have been outstanding (5-0) and 48-24 since may 7....... sides continue to stuggle, 1-1 this weekend and 18-22 since may 7.

mondays play:

cws/phil over 9.5 (-1.05)...... love playing philly over at home, especially with eaton going..... he has been roughed up pretty good at home this year.... thome should be up for this one tonight and konerko has been heating up....... if vasquez has a subpar night this one goes over eary......

ill pass on the side in this one.....

tor/sf: easy pass for me, i dont lay (-1.50) and i cant go against morris in this one....... no opinion on side or total here....

mets/dodgers: i may wind up playing the mets here and would if my Side selections hadnt been so bad for a month now....... i definatly like the mets at a pick here but for now ive passed......... el duque plays to the under but mr. wolf may give up a few tonight..... ive got a lean to the over... right now, ill just say..... im going to look at this game again.....

clev/sea: easy pass on the side in this one........ sea red hot and clev very good at home....... if anything id play seattle....... slight lean to the over, especially the way sea has been hitting.........

hou/cubs: no thanks on either side or total........

if im going to do anything on mets/dodger game, ill post it about 1/2 hr before game time........

as for clev/sea: do not play clev and lay (-1.50) thats a bad wager..... either play sea or pass on the side........ as for the total, its the over or nothing but for me its nothing..... clev bats have been silent, they are going to wake up (maybe tonight) but i cant risk a nickel on a hunch.....

i started back strictly handicapping on may 7.......

from may 7 to june 7, i went 60-45 for a (+10.45 units), i wager a nickel per game...... so i cleared $5225 in that month.........

i started month 2 on friday june 8....... so far 6-1 (+3.80 units).... up already $1900 the last 3 days..........

this is no longer a guessing game, its no longer a hobby, its not even fun. its a business... i have no time for playing value, only winners.........

thanks ssi, i know you are doing well on the totals. i like the business idea, as oppossed to gambling just to be gambling.

C'mon, there's got to be some 'fun' in this business as well or you'll be pulling whatever hair you've got remaining out in droves. Sure it's a business, but all businesses got to be enjoyable or their hardly worth the effort and/or time you put into it. i dont really even like to watch the games, ill check the scores every once in a while......

ive posted the games every day since friday ------- because ive went 6-1

if anything im superstitious, its about staying in the zone........

going to add the cubs/astros total..

cubs/astros over 8.5 (-1.30)....... thats what betjam is showing right now. i like the over 8.5 alot better than over 9 but i dont know if i like it 20 cents worth........ but ill go along with this one tonight...

woody isnt nothing special, especially on the road........ zambrano will give up at least 3-4........

2 plays:

cubs/stros over 8.5 (-1.30)

that will probably do it...... would still consider a play on the mets/dodger game but probably not until almost game time.....
