I always seeing you posting about how you win every month and how you bet a ton of games a night but what exactly do you do. Are you doing middlles? Scalps? What exactly do you do? You don't have to give away all your secrets but I brief overview would be nice.

Thanks

If you go under the search and type in Pinny lean you may get a better understanding of what I do.

Basically I have 2 monitors and on 1 monitor I have Pinnacle dynamic lines going at all times to compare to my other monitor which is at 1 of my 6 or so square books/outs. I am looking for lines that I could get a breakeven scalp with Pinny and only betting the square number at the sqaure book. I almost ALWAYS wait till last minute to bet at other books to beat the closing line.

Absolutely zero handicapping involved as this is a completley systematic approach. My theory is that after enough bets the luck factor is eliminated and the edge comes into play. So I want as many bets as I can to get to that level. I find around 600 bets or so (around day 16 of month) and I am usually ahead. I am betting around 30-40 bets a day on average.

Started this last September when I realized that when I scalped I was losing to Pinny consistently and beating the sqaure books so I said why give Pinny the money. I had 8 striaght winning months and won over 32k betting between $100-200 a game. I was down less than $200 the last day of May for the month and ended up having a losing day and so a losing month, ending the streak. Was avrerging 1k profit a week thru most of the hoops season but have spun my wheels most of baseball.

There are little tidbits that I have added to my style from just seeing things from all the practice. One thing I have surprisngly noticed is that I find better bets in more obscure places (NBA 1st halfs, MLB 1 half, etc) than your traditional sides/totals plays.

Two things I like to add. You in essence have the exact same edge as a bookie has. Most of your -110 bets are -120 pr so on the Pinny screen which means you have a 10 cent edge on the consensus line and that is what a bookie generally has on his clients and (2) the Pinny line/consensus line that I use as a indicator of what the line should be is by far (IMO) the best line out there based on the fact that it is the line that has been bet into with the most money and moved arouund and shaped by the bettors of the worlds money. Their money has spoken and to me that is the closet thing to a true line that is availbile and in the LONG RUN (key word) that line will play truer to form than any other number I can put out there or anyone else for that matter. Use the public, sharps or whoever else moves the lines to get a true accurate gauge to compare and find bad numbers out and beat the snot out of the bad number. You will be surprised how close the game is to the real number in alot of games and how much your extra point comes into play and adds up. Enough to put you over the hump and make you a winner. Good Luck!!!!

I think the reason you find better bets in the obscure lines is because they aren't being affected by square money as much as conventional lines. Those conventional lines have square money moving the line more than obscure lines.

ICE, why the search for other streams of income (i.e. real estate, poop patrol, poker)? Why not just up your average bet amount?

Still wondering if anyone is up for a Mich. mini bash????

I believe he is trying to "stay under the radar". It's all good until these places figure out that your following moves or betting a disporportionate amount of props. Sportsbooks these days are paying more attention than ever on the bottom line and they have lost their sense of humor about getting beat. Once a bettor is flagged as a "sharp" they pull all kinds of shit on you...cut off bonuses, limit you action to as low as $100 a play (true story...Hollywood), make you call in your bets so they can adjust their line on you (5dimes), accuse you of syndicate action, cut you off from betting any props or just simply close your account. Enjoy it while the sailing is still smooth.

Sort of what Anti Liberal said but to add to that, there is a comfort level for me at $100-200 a game and betting 40 bets a nite or so for me. Too much variance when I am betting $300 and up a play. Combined with the fact there is alot more money to move around back forth when the stakes go up. Just more a comfort level thing where I dont really care if I win or lose on a nightly basis at this current level and that is a nice feeling to have for me.

Iceman:

Why is it you rarely reply to my comments in your threads?

Sorry you feel that way as I usually dont respond to comments as much as I do questions. One of my problems is that I have long winded answers and it takes me too long.

Not sure you have noticed (or care for that matter) but I havent been on here RESPONDING as much lately for variety of reasons. 1) I moved and have been settling in, which has been a huge pain in the ass. 2) my work is in the busiest time of the year for me so my foucs is on that. 3) I have been playing multiple tables at poker for about a week now (quite successfully I must add) and my focus is there for obvious reasons.

I honestly hardly pay attention to who actually asks the question or makes the comment. Always been a weakness of mine. Way more focused on my answering it. Believe me, it is no more than that.

Have a feeling answering this is not something he will want to do that badly.

Royalfan,
Sorry to hijack the post briefly, but are you still playing over/under team total runs? Don't think I've seen you post those since early in the season. Thanks.

Yes. Will try and post them more often. Had some tough luck the first night and am superstitious a bit, so wanted to right the ship first on the bad luck that I was having back then.
