Not that I think that it has to be rigged, but why would it not be?? If I had an online casino, you BET YOUR ASS that I would have my slot machines paying out below 50%. People are still going to play them anyway.

if you rigged the games below 50% you would get no repeat biz.
but again, you can't have the thrill of victory without the hurt of loss.
these games are addictive, no reason to take it all at once... the casinos slowly bleed their customers, this way they will get more over the long haul.

I have never felt it is rigged no matter where I have played online. The games have enough of an edge in them to not have it rigged. Add in that the action goes much faster than land casinos so you will lose much more per hour. Bad money management, and not knowing when to quit - those factors are what make people lose at it.
