ML Dogs

no record just posting for fun today......

these plays are from the ML Dog system that i was posting at the start of the season........ i started this last sept and here are the records for what i posted and played of it....

MLB 2006 (last 2 weeks of season): (+7.00 units)
MLB Playoffs 2006: (+7.00 units)

NHL 2006: (-5.00 units) played for about 1/3 of season.
NBA 2006: (+14.00 units) played for 1/2 of season.

NFL 2006: (-7.00 units)

MLBX 2007: (+11.00 units)
MLB 2007: (-23.00 units)

while not completely accurate these numbers are really close......

not sure if i gave this enough time so im going to list a few plays for merely tracking purposes...... i thought that i was really on to something with this but the start of the 2007 was not kind to this "dog" system or many others for that matter.......

Lets just look at it and see how it goes for a few days........

1. arizona (+1.60)
2. oakland (+1.50)
3. padres (+1.15)
4. mariners (+1.25)
5. braves (+1.40)

they would be for one unit....... not advising anyone on any of these, i just wanted to see how this system does for a while.......

SSI, i can really tell u are getting bored/tired with your business-like betting that u started to do last month, and i dont blame ya. Just isnt "fun" sometimes , but i guess as long as u are making money, thats cool.

Anyway, i like betting dogs (+110 to +170).

Also, we should look at the 1-1-2 progression system on ALT RL on underdogs in a 3 game series that u were speaking of in an earlier post.

Also, i have been dabbing a little in a couple of systems......here it goes (u may have read my post before, but anyway....)

SYSTEM #1
At the beginning of a 3 or 4 game series, take the 2 highest ML favorites, and parlay them with the opposing dogs and chase it till it hits......example for tonite would be this.....

Balt & Det are the 2 highest ML favorites for tonite....so....

Balt (-171)
Wash(+159)

Det (-170)
Mil (+161)

Parlay would run like this......

Balt (-171) / Mil (+161)
risk 1unit to win 3.14

Det (-170) / Wash (+159)
risk 1unit to win 3.10

Bet these parlay in this 3 game series until one hits, then u stop.

System #2

take the highest ML favorite and parlay it with all dogs ranging from (+110 to +160)

example tonite would be

Balt(-171) / Fla(+129)
Balt(-171) / Ari(+159)
Balt(-171) / Cws(+149)
Balt(-171) / Col(+158)
Balt(-171) / Cincy(+141)

...........and so on and so forth. Yes, there is alot laying on 1 team to win (Balt), but if they lose your 1 unit, the next nite, u take the highest ML favorite and do the same thing for 1.5 or 2 units (depending on your M. management)

**had pretty decent results with both systems, but just didnt stick with it long enough i guess......i wanted someone else to play with me....lol.

im not bored with the strict betting style....... i really think i should just keep that to myself....... im playing a nickel per game and i dont need any added pressure......

as for the: 1-1-2 alt runline system....... aflguru is tracking it, in the record tracker here...... so we can get a good look at that one.......

as for my ML dogs, ive decided to once again allocate $1000 at betjam for this experiment...... im going to play $20 per game on each of the 5 teams listed above.... not much but this is more or less for tracking purposes...... call it my never ending search for the "Holy Grail"........ this little experiment wont affect my handicapping at all...... it takes just minutes for me to run the games and select the ML dogs daily.......

i honestly thought that i had it, with this ML system...... i even announced it on here (Big Mistake)....... i hope my $1000 last the remainder of the season.. if it grows to $1250, ill bump the plays to $25 per game......

Interesting situation today, that we've got the Dodgers as a favorite today. That means if that parlay hits we essentially break even in the series, but if the Pirates and Nationals win then we profit nearly 3.5 units.

i can afford mine..... im playing them for $20 each...... im willing to invest the $1000 on this but nothing more...... this has nothing to do with my other wagers......

geez o' freekin' peete. Leave the guy alone. He has already stated he is just doing it for fun. Basically, he doesnt care if he loses the grand or not. Damn, get off his nuts. Sorry, not trying to go off, but goodness, let the man lose or win his money in whatever fashion he wants.

SSI. I think u should do either one of the 2 from here.

1. bet only dogs ranging from +110 to +160 only.
2. bet ALT RL on a 3 game series. Bet the dog to win -1.5 in the series, like u were stating.
