I guess John Maine sucks then, because he gave up two homers in one inning. Man, that guy fucking sucks.
Even if you think he isn't a good closer, that doesn't make him garbage. He is a very good pitcher, and in the closing role, there was nobody better 2 years ago. People like you and primetime think he sucks if he gives up a run in the 9th. Jury is still out on whether he will close games out in the future. But he's going to make a shitload of money on his next contract, and to say he's garbage makes you sound like a degenerate in the Stardust betting money that he begged for on the streets.LOL at this analogy. Has John Maine consistently blown dick at being a starting pitcher? Has he been put in the pen multiple times and then brought back into the Mets rotation, only to go back to giving up homers after homers? No. Brad Lidge has proven time and time again he isn't a closer.

I admitted that it was a longshot, and only said it to stir up discussion. They will be the most improved team in the country, and people are going to lose a lot of money fading them and expecting them to go 2-10.I'd say Illinois winning the Big 10 title this year would be a bigger idiotic statement then saying Lidge is garbage, but ok.
