Minnesota situation brought out the worst of Mike James, he will bounce back playing at home and his numbers will be closer to the numbers he had his previous two seasons in Houston/Toronto. PG upgrade for Houston. on to the PF position.

Couldn't stand James in Minnesota. I hated how he referred to himself in first person. There's some hilarious and embarrassing sound bites of him, dude think he's a top PG. I'll gladly take 2 years of Howard and then that money off the cap instead of Mike James again.

The only reason they did this deal was salary cap reasons. Get Howard's contract off a year before Mike Jame's. Davis contract will also be off the books after this year.

James is a good fit for the Rockets...big upgrade over Alston. Rockets beat the Jazz in the playoffs if they have a guard who can hit wide-open 3's.

James will hit those next year. Alston never will, though I'll give him credit for becoming a decent PG...he's a solid backup, but should never start for a contender. Never.
