Unless you're trying to recover from injury...i've heard there's absolutely no reason to take steroids as a MMA fighter. Muscle heads doesnt necessarily mean an easy win.

steroids can make you immensly stronger without getting all bulked up. These MMA guys are a hell of alot stronger than they look and i am sure most of them have experimented with performance enhancers like steroids before.
of course bulking up like a bodybuilder won't help you win a fight but like jake said there are many many ways to use steroids to help every type of athlete.

But it seems like the ones who are rumored to have juiced (ie: Ken Shamrock, Wanderlei Silva, etc) have become shredded...just like Morton.
But someone like Stephan Bonnar admitted it steroids use because of injury.
Being Morton's first MMA fight...and see him add a ton of muscle...i'm wondering what his theory behind taking 'roids was.
