I will go with horse and dog bettors. They stick out like sore thumbs at the track. They are sloppy dressers, unshaven, carrying worn out pencils and programs. They always have a system and never remember their losses. They may be 45 years old, but they look 65. You will never see them smile or look anyone in the eye.

Harness tracks usually have the lowest form of the degenerate gamblers. Worse than those at thoroughbreads. Most of those guys look like they dont have a pot to piss in

I would have to agree, dog and horse players look most degenerate.

Some friends like to go to the track with me just to look at the people. They go, but never think about making a bet, just want to experience the experience. Guess I dont see them as unusual after 34 years of being in the racket.

And lets not forget, you are playing against these degenerates, and that is a big plus! Wish there was more of 'em, with more $$.

Having dealt all table games: poker all types and tournies, BJ, roulete, craps, bacc carnival games from sic bo, red dog, big six, carib stud etc. etc. I also was a bellman at the Arlington Park Hilton next to the racetrack dealing with the old time horse bettors, and Logged many hours at Sportsbooks, sports bars and these forums.

I'd say the (1) LOTTO players at my local 7-11 are by far the worse. The convenient stores here in Florida are like frickn casino's, these idiots come from the trailors hold up the line for over 5 minutes while I'm trying to get to my job.

followed by (2) don't bettors at a low limit crap table, followed by these (3) Omaha high low and stud poker players (average age is like 80), (4) The dirty old horse player reading the racing form for like 6 hours before the races begin SPEND THAT TIME AT A REAL JOB!!! (5) Low limit Video Poker and low limit slot players. These people have ruined Vegas as SLOTS are taking over everywhere. If you don't play slots it's hard to get shit comped at many places.
