The quietest legend you will ever see...I think that may be part of why he doesn't get the proper amount of credit.

He may end up with 5-6 rings himself.

Top 5 player all-time type legend?

He is way underrated IMO....4 rings and counting...Most would think of Bird, Magic and few others before Duncan, he's easily in that same class..he just makes it look way to easy.

Duncan is a top 10 player all time imo. He wouldn't crack the top 5, but that's not a knock on him. Just below Shaq on my list.

i dont buy duncan as the best power forward of all time. to me, thats stretching it. but hes the most accomplished power forward of all time. barkley and malone were both incredible despite not having any rings.

This is what I find myself battling with...Malone and Barkley seemed to be more dominant but how can you argue against those 4 rings?

My first reaction has always been 'Malone was better'..I'm not sure.

no they didnt. they played against jordan once each. it wasnt like they were battling the way the west teams do every year. i am a big time barkley fan. people forget how dominant he was. but he never got over the hump in philly and then later in phoenix.

Huh? The Jazz played them two years in row...

And Barkley's teams were not as good as Duncan's

The problem is people are way too quick to overlook defense and Duncan is so much better on defense than those two guys it is ridiculous. Plus you gotta double him or he scores on offense. Mailman was in a somewhat gimmicky offense where he got so much of his on the pick and roll from stockton. Not saying he wasn't great though, just not close to Duncan.

In a side note, this is why the ratings are so down. SA is just a boring efficient team. No controversy ever, no nothing. That should be commended but they just are not interesting. Plus they understand how to defend Bron making for a lackluster final.
