He's hit so many big shots though...not just a couple.. like maybe 10 monster clutch shots at the end of games.

having him and finley at your disposal is like having two of the best closers on your team. The term clutch barely starts describing those two.

Very true, but Horry has made some of the biggest shots in NBA playoff history...many many many 3 pointers to win the biggest games, where as if he missed those shots his team would have lost.

I think what makes his post season magic standout the way it does, he's just a regular player til these moments...he has a litle Clark Kent in him.

Jman, how many shots has the Fresh Prince made to win games? I know we all remember the few that made the highlight reels. But I'm thinking that it was fewer than you make it out to be.

But then again, it could be my memory is going.

I went to youtube last nite and they have a top 10 Robert Horry playoff moments.Very Impressive.
Even more impressive is that it seemed like most of his big shots were in Road playoff games with hostile atmosphere.

No, I know that. And hes hit some big shots.

But the 'Being on the right team at the right time' theory holds good merit.

Has Horry made some seriously great clutch shots over and over? No doubt about it. He isnt the guy who makes the difference. These great teams he has played for have had some awesome players.

I mean how many other players who score 11ppg or whatever could you have put in those spots?! I'm sure there are plenty. Paxon, Kerr. To name a few.
