Why did my first play on the Detroit Tigers yesterday get graded as a NP, because it was "late"? If you look at my post I posted all three plays at 4:01 PM and that game did not start until 4:05 PM.

Intrinzik, the reason your game didnt count was due to the following rule :

Deadline to post will be 5 minutes prior to the posted start time of the first game on your playlist. If any plays are posted past the deadline, they will be no action. Only plays posted on time will be graded. Editing will be permitted in the first 5 minutes - no reason needed.

That doesn't really make sense to me, seems like the rule should be that you have to have your plays all posted before the 1st pitch (or actual game time, 4:05 PM in this case). What is the point of having them in before 5 minutes prior to game? If I were to post them at 3:59 PM and then edit them and the end time posting would be listed at 4:01 PM I wouldn't be able to use them, just doesn't seem fair.

Whatever though.

Just Out Of Curiosity..what About If Your Opponent Just Goes The Opposite Than You Because That's Their Only Hope. Perhaps It Should Be The Poster To Pick That Game..the Other Podter Can Only Play The Total Or If A Total Is Played They Can Only Play The Side....in My Case I Posted Number 1 And My Opponent Just Picked The Opposite Way To Get Back Into The Match.
That's Reallya Very Intelligient Play On His Part And He Deserves Kudos But Is That Really Capping?

completely agree. once it's hopeless for player X, he can simply take opposites with his opponent and has a real chance of swinging 600 per day. i think that during the last few days, players shouldn't be able to take his opponent's game in any way. that would be nice and simple.

Two things...

Don't come in here and whine because you don't like the rules or something isn't fair 3 weeks into the contest. If you haven't read them by now, it's your loss. I gave you guys the option to edit so you'd have one chance to change your original pick. By setting the deadline at 5 minutes prior to gametime, any changes would be in before the game starts.

As for the no copy rule, you guys crack me up. Pick winners to start with, and your opponent picking opposite will be no issue. This rule was common knowledge for almost a week and now all the sudden, everybody's got their own ideas how to run things. I could've left everything as is and not even addressed the copy issue and then no doubt someone would come in and howl about his opponent piggybacking to keep a lead. The fact is, I was trying to head off any possible situations like these and have a way to deal with them.

Lastly, once you post your plays, they can not be nullified/changed after the first 5 minutes.
