Is this Clippard person really favored over Glavine?

You never know what you will get with Glavine. I have followed him closely for many years and know he has the great record historically but he scares me every time he has the ball these days. Very underwhelming stuff and he gets rocked often.

I am looking more at a last five years senario. But I do understand he is hall of fame material. Not really arguing here and I do think he is one of the smartest pitchers in history and definately gets the most out of his sometimes questionable stuff.

glavine cant pitch against AL teams, they are to pwerful, you saw what happened when he went against the tigers. The line is a trap also for Mets backs, Yanks are the play here

Glavine was 3-1 vs. AL in 2006. He beat the Yankees (2 ER), Baltimore (4 ER) and Toronto (2 ER). Lost to Boston (1 ER).

Don't post false information, thanks

For whatever reason, Las Vegas never gives Glavine a lot of respect. There is always value on him.

Glavine is a bargain especially at that price...which is why I went the other way...its almost too good to be true....now matchbook even has him +140....Glavine will show up...that bullpen however is another story...

I don't know who will win the game but Glavine is pitiful. Thankfully I was on the Over only.

[h=4]The New York Yankees have showcased an incredible bullpen this season, but Tyler Clippard simply can’t be forgotten.[/h]Adam Warren shuts down the middle of the game. Dellin Betances and Aroldis Chapman close out opponents. Yet the biggest piece of the puzzle is often unrecognized in right-hander Tyler Clippard.
Clippard, the journeyman reliever, has finally found a permanent home in the New York Yankees bullpen and his success on the mound ultimately plays a big role in the overall success of the Yankees.

We saw brilliant performances from Clippard last season. It might take him some time to get into the groove this season but when he does, he’ll be the key piece in holding that bullpen together.
He can serve as a bridge to the closers. He can be the closer. He can pitch one or two innings in relief of a starter. He can do it all.
Tyler Clippard’s versatility makes him one of the most dangerous weapons in an already stacked bullpen. Let’s give him a little more credit when it comes to his quietly successful performances.
