San Diego +117 (Young) 3 Units Cubs are hot but they are running into a stud on the mound. This is going to be a pitchers duel but I think Zambrano gets beat here by Young. Young has out pitched Zambrano the whole year and has been more consistent. The Cubs offense seems to struggle against quality pitching so I will take the Padre's getting this number against the Cubs.
Pittsburgh +127 (Van Benscn) 1 Unit The White Sox might not win a game ever again and they proved yesterday they can't hit anyone, period, so if the Pirates can get three runs the game is pretty much over.
Detroit -101 (Miller) 4 Units Andrew Miller is an absolute stud and will be one of the best pitchers in baseball. He has electric stuff and he already knows how to pitch in the big leagues it seems like. The Phillies are hot but I feel the books continue to undervalue this Detroit team and they are doing it once again.
Atlanta -106 (Smoltz) 2 Units It isn't often you can get John Smoltz at this number but the Braves are scuffling. Even though they are scuffling Smoltz is the stopper and the Ace and an ace's job is suppose to stop the slides. Smoltz should be able to shut down this Cleveland lineup and hopefully the Braves can score some runs.
