From the department of "Go Figure", They came into Major League Baseball together, but the D-backs and Devil Rays have taken different paths since. Arizona won the World Series in 2001 and Tampa Bay has yet to finish as season above the .500 mark. But when it comes to head-to-head matchups on the field, it's not even close. The Devil Rays are 6-0 against Arizona, sweeping three-game series at Chase Field in 2004 and at Tropicana Field in 2006. The Diamondbacks will be out to end their drought against the Devil Rays tonight in the opener of a three game series in Phoenix. Arizona's entire offense came alive in a weekend sweep of Baltimore and should continue to roll against a Tampa pitching staff that is ranked last in the American League in ERA. The "Snakes" have a definite pitching advantage tonight as veteran Livan Hernandez (5-4, 4.20) goes up against Edwin Jackson (0-8, 8.20). Jackson is coming off a rough start against the Padres in which he allowed five runs and retired just one batter. He's been a bust with a capital B since joining Tampa Bay. Arizona is 26-8 in their last 34 games as a favorite, while TB is just 13-18 on the road. We're just looking for a two run victory tonight, something easily within reach for the D-Backs ESPECIALLY against Edwin Jackson.

BEST TO ALL

how does the "exbookie" angle come into play? you seem to advertise it a lot as if its significant.

youve even suggested it gets you inside information as to NFL plays. does the NFL or any other league have like an 800 number for bookies or exbookies where inside dirt is dished out?

I do it for two reason....its a nick name and when I want to go back (let's say a year later and look up something on theRX I go to the Search Forums and put in Exbookie and I can see all my threads...my E-mail (a forum with in itself) does a lot of my edges
