According to some gaming experts in London this may be the future of greyhound racing.....The racing has been so tainted by drugs over the past year that the industry is looking for a new option on presenting the sport to the public...."mechanical monley jockeys" may be the anser according to PHD Alonso DeSantis ....a technical engineer hired to reserach the possibility of these jockeys...they would be set up with electric buzzers with a very mild charge exacted on the greyhounds to give a "full" effort"..Also it was recomended that All dogs be kept in a holding pen 24 hrs prior to racing to stop all suspicious trainers from any acts that might impair the racing performance of the dogs in light of the recent betting scandals that have rocked the Greyhound Industry....Some crooked trainers were over feeding the hounds and then leaving them out of the exotic wagers and cashing big when 4 longshots would line up to pay boxcar #'s in superfecta races.......One syndicate reportedly won over 3,000,000 British pounds over a 2 year period....
