Posting Pinnacle line movements of 10 points or more where the favorite is getting better odds. Just trying to see if it amounts to anything.

Milw -163 over SF (from -175)
Tex -119 over Cubs (from -135)

Wagerline consensus:

SF 39% Milw 61% - This one is interesting given the line movement
Cubs 55% Texas 45%

I was under the impression wagerline is free so basically they are not putting money on these games. Therefore given the 61% on Milw, its really irrelevant and doesn't represent 61% of money in the book on Milw

line movement is for dummys

Speling correctly is for dummies.

:puppy:

Or perhaps we're on to something here and someone wants to persuade us to not use this method.

Or perhaps we're just having fun because we're bored.

In baseball I bet against line moves of 10% from the gameday line at 9 AM. Fading steam and fading my square friends has worked for 43 years. Since the mess caused by the internet law, the opening line has not been as accurate as in former years. Since I came back from a month vacation in Europe (Paris and Amsterdam), I have been betting almost all AL dogs in inter-league games. Today, I have Tor, KC, Tex, and TB. Good luck!

I have mostly been including just fading the steam on the favorites whose lines have improved. Let's include the dogs whose lines have improved.

Tonight we have:

Cubs -119 over Tex (from -135)
Milw -163 over SF (from -175)
Atl +118 over Bos (from +107)
Det -140 over Wash (from -150)
Phi +132 over Clev (from +156)
Cin +157 over Oak (from +172)
KC +147 over StL (from +137)
Milw -163 over SF (from -175)

My partner uses the overnight opening line as his starting point. He bets against moves of 10% (not 10 points). I use the 9 AM gameday line as my starting point; no anti-steam plays for me tonight (so far). Good luck!

My partner tries to catch the apex of steam, as do I. It takes a lot of time, but getting the best line is worth it. Pinnacle still seems to lead line movements and is usually where takeback occurs first.

I'm using the opening line on these as well.

Thanks for the input.
