The nationals are a juicy +130 tonight, this might be a good for spot them to grab win vs the tigers with Bonderman on deck. What I like here is the pitching matchup of Chad Durbin & the Det BP vs the nationals. Is the Chad really ready to be a -140 favorite when he has had only 5 So's in his last three starts? His Era is drifting upwards 6.45 in last three starts and not surpirisingly his whip is also up .300.
Now I realize the nats are no screaming hell but they do win 40% of their home games and their little rally late in last nights game may give them some hope for today. If the nationals don't get to Durbin then they might get to that crummy pen again and maybe this time the hill won't so high to climb. Simontacchi has been better of late winning his last 2 starts of Baltimore and Minny - I realize the tigers are hot but their numbers drop off vs righties.
