Cubs -118..................$400.00
The Cubs go for their second win in a row as the' three-game Interleague series continues against the Texas Rangers. Jason Marquis has some decent numbers on the year (5-3, 3.14 ERA) but hasnt won since May 9. The veteran right-hander is 0-2 in his last seven starts, and only one of those has been a quality start. However, Marquis has fared better on the road, compiling a 2-1 record and 2.95 ERA away from Wrigley Field. Kameron Loe (2-6, 6.56 ERA) will go for the Rangers and is coming off a strong outing when he beat the Pirates, 6-0 for his second win of the year. It was his first victory since April 21, and he did it not only with a much better sinker but also with an increased reliance on his slider and change. He is 1-4 with a 7.07 ERA in 10 games, including seven starts, at Rangers Ballpark. I'm all over the Cubs in this one against a dreadful Texas team that has given up on it's manager.
