I'm getting my first withdrawal from Bookmaker and they are charging me $60 to so. I am not a big player and $60 is an overly large fee in my opinion.

Do other books charge less?

I noticed that also when I opened my account. So not really using their service... bodog charges only $20.00 but it might takes some time for you to receive your money...other option is BJ with their debit card option. Haven't withdrawl money with them yet...but I will soon... will let you know how it goes..

No question it's high but things have changed in the industry. It is getting more difficult to process withdrawls so raising the fee discourages people from higher quantities of withdrawls. Some books are having it better than others right now and can charge less. But I'd say we're headed for higher fees everywhere sooner or later.

still don't get the "changes in the industry" arguement, its bullshit. Thegreek and Betjam can do your payouts FAST and much cheaper than most anyone, seems they aren't using excuses..

This is hilarious because I was just looking at a chat from them I had last week where they confirmed these astronomical fees. I understand that the industry has changed but I think some books are using this as a excuse to gouge and take advantage of the players. Outside of books like BetJam and Matchbook who have found ways around this, this is very concerning with football around the corner. Oddly enough some books have easier ways to deposit and those are the slowest to payout out.

They do have a free payment "reward" if you use some of your betting points. If you gamble for a month or two it's not too hard to reach that level.

That's my problem. I can't seem to win there but win at the high fee, high BS books.:realtongu

It's left up to their discretion though.

You could take a paper check for no fee. You can also use your loyalty points (2500) to withdraw for free.

You may be eligible to exchange 2500 Loyalty points for a Free Payout. Contact our Customer Service Department to see if you qualify.

Just be glad that you are actually getting a payout!! It says what they charge clearly on their site before you deposited.

Payouts really dont have to free anyway. It does cost the book money to receive your funds each time you send them in. If you use your debit card, then they lose from 1-3%. If you use western union, then they lose $20-50 or so by reimbursing the fees.

If you use a ACH from your bank, then they dont really absorb alot of fees. So that would be the only free payout one could reasonably be able to receive as long as it is only 1 free payout every 2 weeks or so. The people who are requesting payouts every 3 days are killing it for the rest of it over the past few years. They raise the costs for the rest of us.

There should be NO GOOD REASON for requesting a payout more than 1 time a week. Unless you are laundering money. Just request what you need that week at one time.

Is that regular mail or overnight? In the chat she said the overnight can take 7-10 business days if that's the case then it should be free? Has anyone done the overnight option yet? can you use the loyalty points for a moneygram payout?

Really? That's what I call the cost of doing business. Nobody says everything should be free but they make money off the player with vig, they shouldn't have to profit when we cash out too and take 2 weeks or more to get paid off after paying these ridiculous cost. They do have their fees clearly stated though so I'll give you that.

Where are you seeing that you can take a paper cheque for no fee ?

The only thing I see on their website is that it costs $60 to get a cheque sent by FedEx ?

What cracks me up is if your fortunate enough to do bisiness with these books via an agent everything is free including a line of credit.

But get corporate america involved and there is "the price of doing business"!

It is quite ridiculous (the book-to-book especially), but as has been said they do offer a free withdrawal if you wager ~$2500.

Still not free ... the cash equivalent of the 2,500 loyalty points that you're giving up is somewhere in the $26-30 range, so it's not really free ... cheaper (than $60) yes, but not free.

And yes, the fees they charge for book-to-book transfers, and even in-house transfers (from CRIS to DSI, for example), are bordering on criminal.
