Want to go all in :banger: on one single game/play. Liking ZITO at the moment.

Zito's last few outings haven't impressed me at all. Not sure if his mechanics are off or what, so for me I'm on the Brew -138.

I'll also be backing the Marlins +120 in the other early game.

Thanks his only BAD outing lately was against the RED SOX, I'll let that slide. Before that 4 starts only 4 earned runs.
Vargas does have a very impressive Team Start Record with the BREWERS

Yeah this Matt Belisle for the Reds is bad as bad can get although he is 4-1 on the road but ERA is 4.28.

He has had 3 great road starts and 3 stinkers which will show up for today?

I like the A's to win (ML, though very expensive) if I had to play several games in the afternoon slate.

But for my pick as the ONLY ONE--- I would go with CWS ML w/ Garland listed. Mitre's stats are not bad at all, but he did have a rough outing at KC and had strained his hammy few starts ago so I'm not sure he can go deep in this game at CWS. So I do like Garland at home with a low line even if CWS doesn't score much.

I have to disagree here with you saying the WSox -128 is the best play of the early ones. You say that even though the WSox managed 3 hits yesterday after the 1st inning vs the likes of Obermueller, Miller, Lindstrom, Benitez, and Gregg? That is 8 innings of batting vs a bullpen. Even though that game should of never even been close with the amount of people the Marlins left on base and they posted 15hits...Garland is not a bad pitcher by any means but he will not get any run support today. Mitre hamstring is fine since he went 6.1 and 88pitches last start. He gave up 6er but 5 of them came in the 5th and 6th innings so I don't know what to take from that, I wasn't watching the game. Mind you, the KC offense at that point was also on fire. Marlins are hitting (.366), (.333), (.312), (.405) in their last 4 games. Marlins have the better offense, a better bullpen, the starting pitchers can wash out because I would say they are about even, and the WSox don't have much of a homefield advantage since they are an under .500 team there.

I didn't really have a feel on SF/MIL; I like OAK (Haren) but not much value there as at -235 on ML, it'd have to hit more than 70.15% of time to make it worth it, and as someone pointed out earlier, which Belishe will show up to pitch (so the OAK RL isn't attractive either)? TB/ARI game... a matchup between Shields/Owings in this interesting series so far with a wild ending last night. Only lean was on the total with the Under 9.

So I kind of felt that CWS -128 on the ML was the "weak best pick"... needing to hit at least 56.15% of time to break even. The books were not going to make CWS a -140 to -149 favorite because of their mediocre offense (which is well-known by now) and how Mitre has been faring generally well this season. So FLA was not going to be better than +130 dogs.

Heck, I don't really cap games all by myself so take my analysis with a grain of salt, of course.
