Really, what is the point of them? I went to one at Hanscom air force base when I was about 10. It was the most boring shit. My grandmother kept saying 'dont look so excited guys'. I just tried to be polite and say 'it's hot out.' But I was bored to tears, as I sat on the grass that hot summer day watching these super expensive planes fly in formation and twirl around.

I think air shows are fucking stupid.

At least this didnt happen.

Also would be nice if SanBernadino will stop boring us to tears at Western Regional LL Finals with their nightly K-9 exhibition.

One of the most memorable days of my life, I was about 10.

Just depends what floats yer boat.

I got to clamber into a Lightning.

...but they wouldn't let us into the spitfire, even back then

Maybe there was more stuff back then, a lot of planes are no longer
about, Victors, Vulcans, Concorde etc.

I agree..... I'd have no interest.

When I was around 12 a friend took me to a NASCAR event (actually probably not NASCAR, but same thing) He said how great it was and his whole family loved it.

Worst event of my live (well maybe tied with a Bryan Adams concert) I didn't get it at all. That day I vowed to never again watch any type of auto racing.
