Dodgers are now 2-21 at AL parks, 1-1 this week. It helps to see they played so badly tonight, even though I was too cheap to lay the big juice. This just confirms we should continue to fade them and I'm playing Toronto, even at -135 or so.

But first, a great dog play for Thursday afternoon. We have a team that is 7-2 their last nine, comming off a win tonight, playing a team that has been hot the past two weeks but have started to cool off, losing their second in a row tonight after going 9-1 their past 10. The play is COLORADO getting +173 on the early line.

It's OK to go against Clements for a couple of reasons. Clements is only going 6 innings since comming back and the thin air in Denver, could wear him down sooner. He is still in the spring training stages of building up his stamina, which should slow down his fastball by the middle innings.

Reason #2 I think is a better reason to play COLORADO. RODRIGO LOPEZ. Are you saying who? How about 7 starts with an ERA of just 2.90. Colorado is 6-1 in his 7 starts and they have won all five of his home starts.

There aren't many games Thursday but these two are all we need.

PLAY TORONTO - 135 or so
PLAY COLORADO +173 or so.

hmmm...not sure about colorado...are you talking about Clemens?

I like Lopez and the fact the Yankees lost their last two after two weeks of winning while Colorado has been playing great. Getting them at +173 is a steal. As for Clements, I'm not saying he is the reason for the play, but I don't see him pitching as a reason for the play to lose.

The fact that Clemens doesn't travel with the team will make it harder for him to adjust to the thin mountain air. If he had gotten there a day or two earlier... who knows.

Does anyone know when he arrives in COL?

HE'S BEEN THERE...HE'S MAKING A POINT OF STAYING WITH THEM FOR AWHILE TO "LOOK LIKE ONE OF THE GUYS" . THIS IS HIS FIRST ROAD START.HIS FIRST 2 GAMES HE LABORED AND GOT THE WIN VS PITT AND LOST TO AN ANEMIC MET TEAM IN WHICH THE HOME PLATE UMPIRE'S STRIKE ZONE MADE THROWING STRIKES NOT NECESSARY. EQUALLY HORRIBLE FOR BOTH SIDES.
I SEE THE ROCKIES GETTING 3-4 OFF HIM AND DON'T SEE THE YANKS GETTING SHUT OUT. I THINK I LIKE OVER THE FIRST 5 INNINGS IN THIS ONE. BUT BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR ROCKIES PLAY :toast:

Clemens Gone

So far, just as I said. Clemens tired in the 5th inning and is gone. Now we have the Rockies against the Yankee bullpen, with Colorado ahead 3-2. Nice, especially at +175. Nothing is certain, but we are in a nice position to cash a big dog.
