BUSH-league move by Tejada and O's

Tejada got drilled on the wrist by a pitch last night. Knowing he couldn't play the full game, they started him anyways just to keep his streak of consecutive games alive. Tejada attempted to bunt in his only at-bat (from the #2 whole, where he's never been in his life), and then was immediately lifted for a PR after his fielder's choice bunt attempt went awry.

This wasn't an example of an athlete being a "gamer". This was taking one AB just to keep a streak alive which to me is now totally meaningless

kinda gay I agree, he aint breaking ripken's record anyway, no way...the roids have stopped(i mean vitamin b12) and his body will break down

that is bullcrap...Cal never pinch hit to keep the streak alive...Hell he played every inning of every game for years....no comparison.

I love Cal Ripken (man love) ........but I remember and incident where they were having a problem with the lights (cough) so they delayed the game until he arrived.......it was all hush hush, but word was, there was a problem at home, he caught Kevin Costner bangin' his wife......Im not saying its true.....but you guys can google it.....its out there......its up to you whether to believe it or not......but stories like that, you cant make them up....where theres smoke, theres fire! Just my opinion....shit like that happens more than we know or belive or is reported! + the media if they like a guy will protect him.......
