This morning, I looked at my bookie's website and noticed he still had the lines up for "heads up golf matchs" eventhough several of the players were still on the course. One of the matchups involved two players at even money, 1 of them was 4 under, the other 2 over. Would anyone take advantage here or is that bad karma

you can take advantage of it but dont get pissed (like many do) when he says you dont have a bet.

(and then come on the rx crying because you didnt get paid)

One note here is that they were both through 6 holes, the match wasn't completed yet.

I have no comment on the morality aspect of this, but I do have advice on the profitability of placing those wagers....I think you'd be foolish to try and take advantage. The site will most likely realize (they usually do) at some point that it was exposed, and will FREEROLL YOU. That is, if your bet loses, it's a loss and you cannot complain (after all, you placed it and had the best of at the moment you did); but if your bet wins, they'll tell you that you have no action because it was placed after the start. You will likely either lose or have no action. Freeroll for the bookie.

Call the book and tell them. Perhaps they will reward you for your honesty. If not, at least you can sleep at night.

Mr. Doberman..when someone notices a bad line or problem on the site and calls we always reward them with a free parlay or straight wager..the aggravation a heads up like that saves you is worth taking care of the person who notified you..
