Old Man Ted is getting hammered because he felt strongly about a wager, posted his pick and his play lost. If you like someones pick jump on board if you don't then cap the game yourself or take a pass. No one is holding a gun to anyones head and telling them what to bet. Guys it's called gambling for a reason. The most successful gamblers I know including myself are lucky to consistently hit 55%-57% of their wagers. Boy nothing like kicking a guy in the balls when he's down.

I agree I have never OMT act out towards someone in a bad way.

But some of these knuckle heads need to get called out. Skins tries to keep them in check in the bb rooms and I slammed that idiot in the horse forum. Only reason was these people always try to come off as winners and shout out follow me follow me. When in fact they are nothing but losers.

Completely agree. Getting to the point I don't even like starting threads anymore because of it.

I have always used this site to try and learn and educate myself and it continues to be the site on the web for gamblers but lately it has been hard (maybe it is the summer and there isn't much to talk about).

That's what happened when everyone thinks they are the shit. I understand a certain kind of bashing, i have no sympathy for touts getting bashed, back in the days, HH, Ivan, Kodiak all deserved it because of the way they acted. Various decent posters ATX, wantitall, omnivorous frog all leaving one by one, J man also stopped posting plays because it's a thankless job.

Busting each others balls and bashing differ in my opinion. I had a blast posting during hockey and sharing dialog with you and others.

OMT getting bashed for that Rice play has NOTHING to do with the play itself; it has to do with his response when someone asked him an honest question about the play.

"Watch and learn."

Are you serious? That couldn't possibly be a more inconsiderate, arrogant response to an honest question. Somebody asked him for reasoning behind the play. Literally ANYTHING would've been a better response. He could've said his fuckin dog picked the play and it would've been more appropriate.

Nobody bashed him before he said that. Nobody said anything rude to him BEFORE he said that. He just acted like an arrogant prick for no reason. He could've easily said "it's just a feeling," and that would've been fine.

I think people were more shocked than anything else in regards to what he said, because it's generally unlike him to say something like that. There also seem to be some ghosts who have a problem with him. But there's a lot of truth in that thread, as well as the teddy kgb thread in the Rubber Room.

I'd like to believe that he just had a rough day, and that's what caused him to respond with the "watch and learn" comment. But others don't see it that way, and it's really hard to blame them.

OMT really brought this upon himself. Lets hope it's the first and last time he comes across as an arrogant prick in his picks threads, because he's never acted that was in the past.

I was a liitle shocked by his response as well as he usually doesn't come off as an arrogant guy but I guess I was giving him the benefit of the doubt skins. You made some good points.

I think it's hysterical how he quit keeping track of his record when he started losing. Then, he changed his approach to "Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large". What the fuck is this, a fast food menu?

Then he disapears after losses and comes back a few weeks later in hopes that people forgot. I lost all respect for him, and personally thinkhe is useless.

I am sorry you feel that way Ice...hopefully you will get past it...I know what you mean though, without naming names there are certain poster who do nothing but pick apart others...frankly I don't understand what they get from it...we will do our best to make sure it doesn't continue.

I think some people are just bored and get off on it...obviously they do not really gamble....it's so obvious though that they enjoy trying to create controversy and enjoy seeing others lose.

It won't be tolerated.

Come on, we all have our arrogant moments. OMT went on to explain his pick later. OK, so I understand someone calling him out for not explaning his comment earlier and him sounding arrogant. But to unload an entire diatribe of his life history at theRX is too severe for this.

It was like a feeding frenzy once one poster (a coward who used a ghost) wrote a few paragraphs as to why they didn't like OMT. Others just jumped on.

the poster that asked him the question about the pick, in the post --- right above the question, made the first snide comment..... saying, "i doubt this pick wins 70% of the time".

the comment was a little out of line for Ted but it wasnt that bad....... ive said far worse and so have many of you.....

oh please, so what he said 'watch and learn'...that was so terrible???

"""I'm offended for Teddy BallGame being cocky""" waaaaah, boohoo.

The same people calling him out now are the ones who NEVER say anything positive in his threads.....it is so obvious, the jealousy behind certain posts.

Exactly and the ones now talking about it never say anything positive to him in his threads...I have been keeping score on this for a long time.

Exactly. Ted's response was probably a knee jerk reaction to a not so subtle shot. Just like Timetopay said, I can't believe that you people are actually still talking about this. WTF?????
