I have NYM opening at -132 with Blanton going for Oak, so no play for my partner. So far he has Tor (opened at -104, got +113), Stl (opened at -109, got +102), Atl (opened at +140, got +156), KC (opened at +131, got +154), and Ari (opened at -139, got -121). Using the gameday opener I have Stl (opened -111, got +102) and Atl (opened at +140, got +156) as plays (so far). Good luck!

I missed that Toronto pick until the bottom of the 1st inning. I can see how this requires a bit of discipline. Perhaps on Sunday I will spend more time on this.

Another thing is that some lines move more than 10 points but eventually fall within the 10-point range. That's why I put multiple ranges for some of the games. I'm wondering if this has some merit for study. I think on Sunday I'll put the entire range of line changes in the post.

3 more days to go until I finish.

Hey Quantum, what is it you are doing exactly. I used to follow the Pinny lean off an on but not sure it's the same as what you are doing. What I would do is find where Pinny had the best number on something but play the opposite side at another book. That make sense? For example lets say Dodgers (playing Tampa) were -145 at Pinny, but -160 everywhere else. Since they were begging for LA money I would bet Tampa, of course I would bet it somewhere else where I could get the best number available.

Is that what you are doing? I broke my foot and I am laid up, had 3 percosets and 3 or 4 glasses of wine so if this doesn't make sense don't worry about it, LOL, I am feeling no pain right now. Sucks to be laid up like this!

Pat:

It makes perfect sense. In fact, this is what Ace-Ace mentioned in an earlier post of mine.

What I'm trying to do here is fade steam. I'm taking the pick of those teams that are on the other side of the team that had line changes due to steam. If a team goes from -160 to -170, I take their opponent which would have gone from +152 to +162. If Pinnacle is making money by changing their lines by what the public takes, then the opposite must work for those people fading the public.

I'll do an analysis when this is all done. You might find some interesting results.
