just to give you guys an update. My $200 purchase was canceled and the www-card department sent authorization papers to my bank account. I advise to stay away from this because all it does is create a headache. They're finally catching on to all these purchases being gambling transactions. Deposit methods are decreasing by the day

Staying with Walgreens route/direct gift card cash in hand purchases.
Plus they double charged me. One payment went through and the other is on hold.

Yeah what happened to me was they approved the purchase and gave me the card number info and then without telling me or notifying me they voided out my pre paid card. However kept the charged amount of the transaction.
Complete bullshit.
Then this morning I see a 2nd amount on hold for the same amount. After I attempted only one transaction. Their customer srvc told me it would be voided out yesterday so my bank wouldnt be charged.

I made a $180 deposit back on May 30th. My card was originally charged to my bank debit card statement, but the funds mysteriously returned back to my account with no sign of a purchase a few days later after that. I thought it was a mixup but other people are expressing the same problems. I have yet to see the transaction come back.
My account got already reimbursed this morning from the canceled card last night after I spoke to customer service. I asked them why are they sending papers to my bank when I was given the green light on the first card? Her exact words, "We did?"
Looks like one of Visa's operations that is just not managed properly. Stay away.
