I'm going to try to be more diligent in finding the line moves as I've missed a couple winners in the last 2 days due to the fact that I haven't kept up with the start times.

Also, there are a couple games that qualify as line move games now (Reds/Mariners, Cubs/White Sox, Phils/Cards. However, I will hold off until game time to report them. If a line move 10 points or more in 1 direction and then moves 10 points or more back, I will also be reporting both moves instead of just where the line ends up.

20 pts in the last 2 hrs is good and a move of 2 to 5 pt close to game time on top of this is the best of both worlds....ck

How are you doing this when Pinnacle has been down all day? :think2:

I was looking at their lines history before posting this. Now when I go back I see it's down. Kind of hard to bet on line moves huh?

Thanks Pat. I always value your opinion.

I'll be carrying this on after the 10 days is up just to see if anything changes.

CC opened at -101 and closed at + 111. If you want to do this for a living it takes 10+ hours a day. IMO, handicapping is less important than timing and shopping. Thanks for trying this and good luck!

My partner just told me Minn opened at -212 and hit -196 at Pinnacle. A question: how many are playing at pinnacle, directly, through agents, or at a local who copies pinnacle's line?

I looked at the record for games that had lines moving 20+ points and it wasn't very good. Perhaps if a line moves 20 points in the last 2 hours it is a different matter.

During the week I'll be looking at lines around noon EDT and then again at 6:30pm EDT and comparing them. Hopefully that will give me enough info on the line moves. I leave work at 8pm EDT so it's tough to get the line moves that happen just before game time for games that start shortly after that.

Thanks for the feedback.

I think it's interesting to note that picks when the line has moved between 10-20 points, the record is 13-6. Hardly a statistical trend but worth noting nevertheless.

2 more days to go.
