I wonder who this will hurt more if both starters leave? The Phils can't hit Wells.

This whole rain delay probably wasn't that good for you and other Philly backers. Neither pen is that great but Cards have an edge over the Phillies, they are flat out bad. Of course Philly can still win the game easily, in fact I happen to think it's only a matter of time before they start smoking the ball on Wells.

Yeah I was just thinking the same thing. Them keeping Wells in there is a good thing if you have Philly.

Cards have runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs and they send Kip Wells to bat. Keep in mind there was a 90 minute rain delay. They want him in. The move speaks for itself.

Wow, Wells gets a single and they send the runner home. Nailed at the plate. Thanks God!

He's hitting over .300 for the year. No surprise he got another hit, that might be why they kept him in.

Walks first hitter, LOL. Philly might score a dozen if they don't pull this bum and his 6.42 ERA. Dude is throwing meatballs up there. Congrats on cashing Rob, looks like they are going to do you a favor.

BWAHAHAHAHA.... Now a wild pitch, runner in scoring position with no outs.
