Led Zeppelin are preparing to perform a one-off reunion show in memory of their former record boss, according to reports.
The news comes after it emerged at the weekend that the legendary band – who have only performed a handful of shows since they spilt in 1980 - are due to embark on a world tour.
The band are expected to reform in London for the one-off show with singer Robert Plant, bassist John Paul Jones and guitarist Jimmy Page being joined by late-member John Bonham's son, Jason. According to WENN, a source said: "Page, Plant and Jones spoke and agreed to do the memorial concert. They are waiting for a definite date. And no-one can quite believe it, but during discussions about the concert they all gave the green light to a tour if it all does well and they don't all fall out.”
The full reunion tour is rumoured to be taking place next year.

I hate Zeppelin now ever since Howard Stern had that guy on who showed how Zep ripped off all these old blues songs including the lyrics.

They're tainted now.

There is not a band in the last 25 years that could open for the Mighty Zep.

Wow. LZ was it for me in JHS and HS. Shoot, I stole my mom's car when I was 14 and drove to Eugene to see a midnight showing of The Song Remains the Same. You bet I'll go see them live...even if they were in wheel chairs.

Don't care who ripped off what, they pulled it off better than all others. I learned how to play guitar because of Jimmy Page and Led Zeppelin...and yeah, I have played Stairway to Heaven in Guitar Center, even the solo (inside joke for other guitar players).

That's really really really old news.

It was shameless, not a secret cover up that they stole music from famous blues riffs and samples such as Memphis Minnie, Robert Johnson and John Estes. However, all of these samples were when they were first trying to burst on to the scene. Many experimental early bands cover other people's songs, most cite them, Zeppelin didn't. It's not that big of a deal, they were young and not that famous at the time.

Actually pays respect they they idolized the music, and that's their roots.

They took the lyrics off of two songs "verbatim" and created the "Lemon Song" and gave each composer nothing. Clapton stole riffs also, but when you take the lyrics, word for word, off of other people's song and take credit for it......that's bad.

Then they have the balls last month to sue a bar band for playing their music and not paying for the use of it. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Yawn, it was a rough live track cover and is now properly credited. Not some mainstream studio single that they worked hours and hours on and took as their own. Everyone loves a good conspiracy theory story so I understand where you're coming from. I bet you still think Elvis is alive.

Good conspiracy theory? It's fact.

By the way, anyone who writes "Yawn" to start a reply is a flaming homo.

Have a look at just about any band in Zeppelin's genre/time, from the Stones, the Beatles, the Allman Brothers, etcetera etcetera etcetera ad nauseum, they all play songs by old blues greats from Robert Johnson to Muddy Waters. If it took Howard Stern for you to realize that most rock and roll is based HEAVILY on old southern blues, you're a bit clueless.

And those bands stole the lyrics?
