Going to Las Vegas first weekend of August.....Need some help???

I am 23 years old and have been to Vegas twice before......Obviously when I was 21 and 22. The first two times I went I was with my family and my older brother and his friends and had a blast....Stayed at the Ballagio and ate at nice restaurants and had a table reserved in the Ceaser's Sportsbook all day on Saturday and SUnday for football....

My question is.....I am going for the first time without the parents and with the 3 other friends who have NEVER BEEN TO VEGAS....We will be there 5 days and 4 nights.....Thursday-Monday night....

Any suggestions as what to do or where to go or anything....We are staying at Bill's Gambling Hall & Casino(Barbary Coast)....Got a cheap as hell room and flight....

I have seen pretty much every casino and treasure island show and all that jazz???

What would someone recommend us do with 3 newbies and myself who has experienced Vegas, but also not really experienced Vegas

check out the E.S.P.N ZONE it's within walking range from where you are staying !! ya will like that !! manage your $$$$ don't spend it all on the first night !! or ya will have to go to the atm !! good luck and bring back some cash !!:lolBIG:

no car doug......stuff on the strip.....we will cab it downtown one night just to see everythning but we are pretty much goona walk everywhere from one end of strip to the other the first night

if you really want to do a night right, get a table at Body English, Tryst or Pure (ideally Pure on Sat), but it will be cash (probably close to or more than $300-500/person). I can't do Vegas for that long any more, I am in and out in 40 hours max. gambling is gambling, so they are all the same to me.

You should hit up Rehab at the Hard Rock pool on Sunday, that shit is off the hook. Loaded with tons of hot chicks and DJs spinning great music all day. That is the one thing I would recommend over everything else.

All the good clubs are good so you would be ok w/ any of the 3 I mentioned.

you should be able to get into Flamingos pool without a hassle if you want.

Palms is really fun on a Fri-Sat night

you will hate vegas after staying there that long.

definately go to hard rock's pool..........get some really dark sunglasses......

i did this after driving to vegas in college. never again..

then go to body english.

definately get some hookers up in your room one night.....i'd never been so scared in my life

I don't know what type of physical shape your in but even if your in tip top shape, I would highly recommend using the Deuce Bus system for this endeavor because the 1st week of August in Vegas is still brutally hot even at night...its not uncommon to see the thermometer at 100 at midnight...The Deuce runs 24 hours a day from Mandalay Bay all the way to downtown and for 5 bucks you can ride the bus and go anywhere for a full 24 hours...

Wake them up at 5am(or better yet, stay up all night). Go belly up to the bar at O'Seahs for an hour or two, and then spend the next couple of hours walking the strip with beers in your hands.

Best time of the day during a Vegas summer :toast:

fhm....one of my dads patients recommended that on sunday....heard it is wild as hell.....perfect for us....

mr. smith.....we will def be chillin at the flamingo pool.....glad we can use that...

passion.....someone had also recommended that as well.....we are all athletes so prob in better shape than most.....i was exaggerating when i said everywhere the first night, but the other 2 want to see most of the places the first couple of days....thanks for the suggestion

who has the hook up on the greenery???

flamingo pool is pretty nice. I dont think they check room keys to see if you are a hotel guest. if they do, tell them where you are staying. both places run by Harrahs, so I dont think they would mind. I stayed at your hotel once it has no pool.

mrsmith......they told us we could def use flamingo pool since all owned by harrah's, so thats what we have been planning on using

would you tell me your thoughts on our place....i mean we know what we are getting but we mainly stayed there cause we got airfare from knoxville and 4 nights for $450/person

we liked the remodeled rooms and the fact they are all suites

i have a feeling we will only be there for the few hours we sleep and when we stumble in at the end of the night for the last round of gambling or the first round of the next day

1st week of August the temps should average 115 to 120 in the daytime. Cools down to the low 90's , by about 5 am.

But you are young and that wont matter. Its all cool inside anyway. Have fun. Bang chicks.
